Bevern View has dedicated workers who ensure that the residents are able to live fulfilling lives. The Trust believes in investing in its staff. All staff are given opportunities to achieve NVQs and other relevant training opportunities are maximised.

Registered Manager – Rosemary Milmine
We have appointed Ian Pounce as our new Executive Director, Ian started at Bevern View on 1st August. He is currently doing a 6 month handover with Peter Frost whilst he gets to know the residents and staff of Bevern View.
Alice (pictured) and Wendy run the office at Bevern View, they are the person you are most likely to first speak to if you phone us during office hours.
Steve is an accountant who worked as a financial director for 20 years in business and commerce before setting up his own practice 14 years ago. He is a specialist in the small charity sector and a founder Fellow member of the Association of Charity Independent Examiners.
Rosemary has the RMA and NVQ3 in Promoting Independence and NVQ4 in Health and Social Care. She also holds City and Guilds 7307 Teaching Certificate. She has spent most of her working life in the area of disability. She worked for a number of years at a Conductive Education school for children with cerebral palsy.
He was also a founder member of Care for the Carers in East Sussex. Peter’s main job was director of postgraduate training for Health and Social Care at the University at Brighton and he is now project leader for the Health and Social Care Foundation Degree as part of the Sussex Learning Network, he has a PhD in the economics of providing support for families with a handicapped member and has undertaken a wide range of research on the development of better support and services for young people with disabilities.
Peter Frost is a parent of a profoundly disabled child. He has 27 years of experience of the problems families face. He has set up a charity, the Bevern Trust, to provide support for his son and 11 other young adults.
John Simpson
A retired college lecturer and member of the college senior management team at Plumpton College. Barcombe Parish Councillor for 20 years and Chairman for 7 years. Chairman of the Agriculture Education and Development Committee.
Matt has worked at Bevern View for 8 years. He is currently undertaking a medical degree at Brighton University and is working over the summer holidays as Acting Health Advisor. Matthew works at weekends as a Senior Support Worker during term time.
Felicity is a qualified Occupational Therapist, working with the support workers, she just joined us in July so is currently spending a lot of time with each resident to understand more about their capabilities.
Outside of Bevern View he makes films, composes and records music, competes for an Athletics Club and Football Club and works with young children at his local church in Brighton. Wind, rain, snow, sunshine, he does the long journey to work on his bicycle!
In 2010 Tim exchanged the life of a Primary School PGCE student for the role of Activities Coordinator at Bevern View. He had previously been a support worker here for three years. Tim has a degree in Music and continues to play in numerous bands.
