Person Centred Approach

Bevern View has adopted a Person Centred Approach to the running of the home. This means that we work at fitting into the residents lives rather than they having to fit into the home’s. This is achieved by each resident having their own Person Centred Plan. The Plan is compiled by the resident and a group of people who know that resident really well. The process helps us to identify the things the resident likes to do, they things they don’t like and the things they have to do. The Plan then dictates how activities are planned and timetabled.
